Privacy policy – Mero OS Contacts

Last updated: 8 October 2026.

Who this applies to

Mero OS Contacts is a private, single-user tool. Its only user is its owner, who uses it on his own Google account.

What data it accesses

With the owner's permission through Google's sign-in, it reads the contacts in the owner's own Google Contacts (names, email addresses, phone numbers and notes). If the owner also grants edit access, it makes only the specific edits he approves one by one: adding an email address, restoring a phone number or email address, setting a name, recording a link to his own CRM record, and removing a duplicate card created by an earlier sync.

Where the data goes

The data stays within the owner's own accounts and devices: his Google account, his own CRM account, and private files on his own computers. Mero OS Contacts does not sell, rent, share or disclose any contact data to anyone, does not use it for advertising, and does not send messages to the people in the contacts.

Google user data

Mero OS Contacts' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long data is kept

Copies used to check for errors are kept privately by the owner and removed after 90 days.

How to revoke access

Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections by removing "Mero OS Contacts".
